This 3D assignment focused on creating a unique and functional spoon, which was hand-cut and sanded from a 9” x 3” x 2” wood block. Starting with concept sketches, we developed full-size drawings to transfer to blocks of wood for fabrication. I chose to make an asymmetrical and geometric shape to create a sense of balance.
