The design prompt of this 3D project was to create a hypothetical monument that could be installed in a real-life location. I crafted a foam core model of two wire fish located at the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial in Taiwan. Fish are of important cultural significance in Taiwan; I have fond memories of coming to this memorial as a child and feeding the koi fish with my family. This sentimental project pays homage to the grandeur of the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial while encapsulating the warmth and nostalgia of family visits.
