Tasked with designing a distinctive and efficient potato peeler, I started the process with market research, customer needs assessments, and initial hand sketches. The concepts advanced using clay iterations followed by a refined foam model, and a final design in plastic resin with a metal blade. With each stage, the design evolved into a unique product. My inspiration was to depart from a traditional rigid tool and to infuse a more organic, ergonomic, and aesthetic form while remaining functional. The end result reflects my interest in exploring a new process and medium in three dimensions.
