In this triptych, I wanted to highlight this timeless band’s unique qualities of playfulness and positivity. As a child, my mom and I would sing their famous song “Hello, Goodbye” together as a call-response duet. The Beatles, and specifically this song, is familiar and nostalgic to me. I chose the lyrics “You say goodbye, and I say hello” as the main focal point. The lyrics are reflected to showcase the duality and interconnectedness of the song to mimic the call-and-response. This project tied the cultural legacy of the Beatles' music with my own fond memories of enjoying their music.
