For this charcoal still-life, I started with thumbnail sketches of different sections of the drapes so that we could plot out our final layout. This project allowed me to practice observation skills and explore the nuances of light and shadow. The artwork captures the interplay between light and fabric, showcasing the beauty in everyday objects.

For this self-portrait piece, I posturized a selfie in Adobe Photoshop and created two images. The image on the left is a monochromatic painting, while the image on the right is a linotype print. This two-dimensional exploration allowed me to experiment with the powerful tools of Photoshop.
